To me, red is the perfect color. It represents me and so much more, so well. I wrote an essay about the color red once, and that is when I learned it's significance to me. Here is a color, perhaps the only color which represents so vividly and so often two opposite things.
Love/Life and Hate/Death
Perhaps you wonder why I choose such a color to represent me... well, because I have come to see both these extremes in me. I know I am not perfect, but I also know that all I am today is part of my journey to reaching my shalom, the fullness of who I was created to be.
Perspective is about what your senses take in and how you interpret those stimuli. It is about giving things a value from your point of view. That is what I am doing here.
As I journey through this life, alongside my husband, I take in much and I share the value I have placed on it with you.
Be warned, that although I love these photos of myself with the one I waited for so long, they are not a full representation of our journey. Our journey has a lot of pain and struggle as we both grow and develop, but there is also hope, and so there is also joy.
